Ready or Not, Here I Camo

I recently had a photo shoot with a local photographer, Mark Gowen (go check him out!). I was pretty nervous as this was my first official photo shoot but I can’t believe how great the pictures turned out. This is the first outfit of three so future blogs to follow!

I have had this camo jacket for about a year now and I wanted to build an outfit around it. The print on the jacket is dark and muted which I like, it’s not in-your-face camouflage. Pairing the jacket with an earthy green shirt and distressed denim brings the look together. Distressed denim isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but I personally enjoy mixing it into my outfits.

I went with black accessories. I prefer black with this camo as opposed to brown. For shoes, I opted for these super sharp and comfortable Uptown Maverick boots from Samuel Hubbard. I kept the wrist clean with a black and gold anchor bracelet and this monochrome watch from Original Grain.
