When the ivy grows, the flannel goes
It's that time of year again where everything turns green and the days get longer. For style enthusiasts that means heavy knits and denim are (mostly) getting rotated to the back of the closet.

I wasn't quite ready to say goodbye to flannel for the next few months so I pulled this one out for one last stroll. There's something so classic about a buffalo-plaid and the color combination makes it easy to pair with pretty much anything. I originally wore a black t-shirt under the flannel but opted for a gray and black color-block instead as it helped break up the outfit a bit. I personally wear jeans year round and will continue to rock the distressed denim throughout the summer, this pair is one of my favorites from Bullhead.

The shoes and accessories are fairly understated, except the oversized mirrored shades. These sneakers are one of my favorites, I think I say that about all my shoes, but I especially love the Native American print these have. I finished off the accessories with an all black watch and an anchor bracelet.
